TechDis Tuesdays - dialogues to make a difference.

What is it?

TechDis Tuesdays are online fortnightly workshops where we:

  • present a short video conversation on a specific accessibility theme;
  • facilitate a live ‘accessibility clinic’ on the day’s topic, providing an opportunity for people to swap stories, compare experiences and discuss good practice;
  • signpost relevant resources from JISC TechDis and other partner organisations.

How long does it last?

Sessions are scheduled to last 30 minutes but lively discussions could go on for longer. Sessions start at 13.00 on the appropriate day.

How do I join?

Grab a pair of headphones for your computer, load a browser and go to www.instantpresenter.com/techdisonline100 a few minutes before the starting time.

Different access needs

We can adapt the session for specific needs (eg visual impairment, hearing impairment etc) if you contact us in advance. Email the helpdesk@techdis.ac.uk with the subject line "Online Workshop Accessibility Support" or phone 01904717580.
