Xerte Friday Online Training Sessions 2009 and 2010

The last Friday lunchtime (1 p.m. to 2 p.m. GMT) of every month is a free online training session on different aspects of working with Xerte online toolkits. These sessions are recorded and links to the recordings are available below. Sometimes there are additional links available to particular learning objects or sample resources. These are indicated where present.

Choose which sessions you would like to attend and login to the meeting url on the appropriate day and time by following the joining instructions for these InstantPresenter meetings. These notes are designed to help you get the most from the event. If you haven’t used InstantPresenter with us before it is worth familiarising yourself by performing a “system check” before the day – full details are here in the InstantPresenter Joining Instructions.
Most of these sessions are aimed at teaching staff rather than technical experts. JISC Techdis offer an excellent range of high quality Xerte teaching resources and these downloadable handouts should be read in conjunction with the appropriate video recording in the tables below. Please note that there may sometimes be a lack of synchronisation between the audio in the video and the slides been demonstrated. This problem can be reduced by using the slide navigation down the left hand side in the record and playback screen and clicking through from one slide to the next.
